3. Cultural Activities

At our school, we believe in empowering special children by nurturing their artistic and physical skills. Over the years, we have organized various cultural events, but in 2015, Mr. Paramjit Singh Sachdeva, the Patron of ADWS, recognized the immense potential and passion of special children during a state-level cultural event in Punjab. He named this event “UMANG”, as he saw extraordinary talent in special children.

The Inspiring Journey of UMANG:
✅ In 2015, the first UMANG event was a grand success and truly unique.
✅ Due to high demand from special children and teachers, it became an annual event.
✅ In 2024, UMANG reached new heights with a North Zone-level program.
✅ In 2025 (Season 7), we are proudly hosting UMANG at the National Level and won the overall championship.

UMANG provides a platform for special children to showcase their talents and gain recognition for their exceptional abilities

4. Art & Craft – Enhancing Creativity in Special Children

Art and craft activities play a crucial role in the development of special children. Recognizing this, our school provides specialized training and engaging activities to nurture their creativity and self-expression.

🎨 Our Art & Craft Programs Include:
Emboss Painting – A tactile art form that enhances sensory skills.
Sketching for Girls – Encouraging artistic expression and fine motor skills.

By participating in these activities, special children gain confidence, improve coordination, and explore their creative potential. We are committed to fostering their talents through structured and enjoyable art sessions.
